SalonAmigo ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by TranLe Holdings LLC, a company incorporated in Georgia, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the SalonAmigo platform — including our booking widget, AI receptionist, SMS notifications, and associated websites.

By using SalonAmigo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Contact information — name, phone number, and email address you enter when booking an appointment.
Appointment details — services selected, preferred date and time, staff preference, and any notes you add.
Communications — messages sent through our AI receptionist or support channels.

Information collected automatically:

Device and browser type, IP address, and referring URL when you visit our websites.
Usage data such as pages viewed and features interacted with.

3. SMS / Text Message Communications

SMS consent is collected through a separate, optional checkbox on the booking form that is unchecked by default and is not required to book. If — and only if — you check that box, you consent to receive recurring transactional SMS messages from the salon you booked with, delivered via the SalonAmigo platform (operated by TranLe Holdings LLC). Providing your phone number alone does not opt you in. These messages include appointment confirmations, reminders, and schedule change alerts.

Contact form SMS consent (tranleholdings.com): Phone numbers and SMS opt-in information collected from contact form submissions will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is collected solely to allow our team to follow up on your specific inquiry.

Message frequency: Typically 2–5 messages per booking (confirmation, reminder, follow-up).
Message & data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages.

We use Twilio, Inc. to deliver SMS messages. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. How We Use Your Information

To book, confirm, remind, and manage your salon appointments.
To send transactional SMS and email notifications you have opted into.
To operate, maintain, and improve the SalonAmigo platform.
To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

With the salon you booked: The salon receives your name, phone, email, and appointment details to serve you.
Service providers: Twilio (SMS delivery), Supabase (database hosting), and other infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of SalonAmigo, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Appointment records are typically retained for 2 years. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Access & correction: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccuracies.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@salonamigo.com.
SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any SMS at any time.
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

9. Children's Privacy

SalonAmigo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SalonAmigo after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
